Le symbole : (prononcé "deux-points") est utilisé en Pascal de plusieurs manières :




  • pour indiquer une entrée d'instruction case.
  • pour séparer la déclaration d'une fonction d'avec son type.
  • pour indiquer une étiquette.
  • pour séparer les champs optionnels de spécification de largeur d'une valeur pour un paramètre de Write et Writeln.
