1. What is the purpose of the foundation.

To promote the use and support development of Lazarus (and Free Pascal ?)

2. How someone can become member of the foundation.

By paying the subscription fee of NN EUR ?

3. How someone can become member of the board.

By being a member, nomination by 2 members of the board, and 66% votes of approval of all existing members of the board.

4. What do benefits (if any) members receive from the foundation.

Regular CD-Rom with available installs of all supported platforms when a new version comes out, maximum 2 months after the initial release of a new version.

5. How the foundation can be disbanded (if that is ever needed).

80% of members of the board agrees ?
