I guess the reference you're referring to is aimed at programmers for – hence the name – quick reference, whilst this page were supposed to provide some explanation. Some internal documentation. Documentation about internals might help recruit new developers, you know. So, I object this page being redundant. At the moment, yes, but in prospect, no.
