Using the Software Centre

11.10 Oneiric Ocelot

The version in the repository (20/02/12) is

  • Lazarus 0.9.30-2.
  • Free Pascal 2.4.4

If you use synaptic then it is called Lazarus 0.9.30-2Build1

In order to install it you need to find and install the following 3 packages

  • IDE for FreePascal (SDK metapackage)
  • Free Pascal Compiler fpc
  • Free Pascal source code

Further coniguration

Once you have installed it, it will not work. Here is how to get it working:

  • Step 1:
  • Step 2: Remove the overlay scrollbars
  • Step 3: Scan the Pascal source code
  • Step 4: Rebuild Lazarus.
