I did'nt understand how to put a image on a wiki page.
- Take a look at this page Screenshots. --Swen 18:46, 8 March 2007 (CET)
I'm receiving a warning about the file size. What should I do?
- I can see, that you have uploaded some pictures. Is your problem still existing? --Swen 22:28, 8 March 2007 (CET)
- Yes. "Upload warning. It is recommended that images not exceed 153600 bytes in size, this file is 203414 bytes" antonio 20:44, 8 March 2007, Brasilia = UTC - 03:00:00
- But the pictures you have uploaded are smaller than 203414 bytes. Do you want to upload a bigger screenshot? I would suggest to check the compression rate of the image. Maybe you can save there the necessary bytes. Or you must reduce the resolution of the image. I don't know if Vincent can change the size limitation for uploads. --Swen 12:45, 9 March 2007 (CET)
- I think, if you use png, you must have very colorful pictures to exceed the 153600 bytes. Vincent 14:18, 9 March 2007 (CET)

- I used JPG format images, PNG is about 50% bigger. Its a collection of 21 images with 10,0Kb to 25,0Kb to integrate a tutorial. See it at http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/Tutorial_de_LazReport
- One hint regarding the images: I would suggest to use more significant file names. For example if you create a second tutorial you will not be sure if image23 is for the first or second (or a third) tutorial. --Swen 23:33, 9 March 2007 (CET)
