tips for Linux testing of 1.4

if you have installed some Lazarus via fpcup, then later install the Laz 1.4 RC1 .deb packs you may find that nothing will compile due to "missing units and stuff" I think this is because of a mixup of some fpc.cfg - but here is the trick: just logout and login as a user who has no prior Lazarus installed. Then the 1.4 Laz will work fine right out of the box. Maybe someone can find out how to properly set up the fpc.cfg to avoid that problem.
